Nicole's experience involves working with individuals with stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and caregiver fatigue and burn out among front line workers. She supports individuals through one-on-one counselling and group programming. She works in collaboration with individuals and their support team in order to create a holistic treatment plan that is well suited for their needs. Nicole offers an eclectic strength-based approach in her practice, drawing from a variety of evidence-based approaches depending on the unique needs of those she is working with. This can include: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Mindfulness Practice, and Motivational Interviewing.
Nicole is a Qualified mindfulness teacher in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) (University of Massachusetts, School of Medicine) and Mindfulness-Based Eating Awareness Training (MB-EAT) (Centre for Mindful Eating, NH). Nicole is a teacher in training in Mindful Self Compassion (MSC) Training Course (University of San Diego, School of Medicine).

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)
This 8 week program integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and mindfulness practice to support individuals in learning healthy ways to cope with stress, anxiety and other forms of mental and physical health conditions. Practical techniques will also be provided to enhance self care and create healthier, meaningful relationships with others.
Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) Training Course
Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) Training is an empirically-supported, 8-week training program designed to cultivate the skill of self-compassion. Based on the groundbreaking research of Kristin Neff and the clinical expertise of Christopher Germer, MSC teaches core principles and practices that enable participants to respond to difficult moments in their lives with kindness, care and understanding.
Nicole utilizes a variety of evidence-based approaches in her practice, including ACT, CBT, Mindfulness, and MI. Nicole works with individuals from the age of 20-99.
