Hi, I'm Sam! Movement has always been medicine for me. When I first started practicing yoga over a decade ago I was drawn to the fancy postures and promises of increased flexibility. What I found was far more profound. Yoga for me is a roadmap to balanced living. I relish in the stillness and complete concentration required during practice. It helps me to remain mindful, curious, and humble off the mat. As a psychotherapist I know when life stress hits, the body keeps the score. Seeking to deepen my own experience I successfully completed the 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training program through Pure Yoga in 2019. I focus on slowing down and deconstructing the postures to offer dynamic, safe, and creative sequences that will make you feel fully alive.
