Rebecca comes to her work with a wide variety of experiences in providing support,
including the areas of women’s reproductive health, sexuality, identity, child welfare, parenting,
hospital and community mental health for adults and youth, women in conflict with the law,
substance use and addiction, caregiving, psychoeducation, living in recovery, making meaning
and sense of lived/living experiences with mental health, and wellness coaching. She is a skilled
ally in working with all those she meets including particular interest for 2SLGBTQ+ folx,
neurodiversity, living with (dis)Ability, older and aging persons, and Canada/Turtle Island’s
Indigenous communities of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.

Rebecca is passionate in supporting and walking with her clients through explorations of
identity, meaning, to the create the lives they want, while building the skills needed to survive
and thrive in a difficult world. She comes to her work with the immense value and ethical,
intentional use of her own lived experiences of challenges – combined with excellent education
and ongoing training. Rebecca is committed and passionate about being part of your journey
bringing expertise in the areas of trauma, substance use/addiction, mood disorders, family-of-
origin work, animal companion relationships, identity, caregiving, life transitions, grief and loss,
and adjusting to illness and/or (dis)Ability. Her firm belief in using a relational approach, natural
curiosity, connection, compassion, kindness, trust, and non-judgment support collaborative
therapeutic relationships that are empathetic, trauma-informed, person-centred and respectful
of the unique individual each of us is.
