Kim Chevalier (nee Roach) is a dedicated Registered Social Worker with a Master’s in Counselling Psychology, passionate about helping individuals navigate their mental health journey. Grounded in a client-centered approach, she believes in the innate strength and resilience of every individual. With a focus on strengths-based interventions, Kim empowers clients to harness their inner resources to achieve meaningful change.


Drawing from the principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Kim supports individuals in addressing a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, addiction, and trauma. Through evidence-based techniques, she helps clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns and behaviors, fostering the development of healthier coping strategies.


Kim’s clinical experience includes working with diverse populations in a variety of settings, such as community mental health services and addiction recovery programs. She approaches each client with empathy, compassion, and a genuine commitment to building a therapeutic relationship founded on trust and collaboration.


Committed to ongoing learning and professional development, Kim remains informed of the latest advancements in mental health care. She is dedicated to continuously refining her skills to better meet the needs of those she serves. With a steadfast commitment to promoting mental wellness and personal growth, Kim strives to make a positive and lasting impact in the lives of her clients.


Kim works with both youth and adults, and is currently accepting new clients for evening and weekend appointments. She is available to see clients virtually.
